Be Gentle With Yourself - You Deserve Better

Today I have three quick easy questions for you....

  1. Do you have a voice in your head?

  2. How do you talk to yourself, do you beat yourself up?

  3. Would you let anyone else talk to you, the way you talk to yourself?

If you answered yes to the first two questions and were surprised when you thought about it and found yourself saying "absolutely no way would someone else get away with speaking to me like that!" to question three, then this exercise is for you.

This exercise will help you to focus on the voice in your head, your mental chatter or the monkey on your back, whatever you call that little voice in your head that is your ego.

EXERCISE

Pay attention to your thoughts, listen to the voice inside your head.

Is it calm or impatient?
Is it supportive or critical?
Is it loving or angry?
Is it approving or disapproving?
Is it encouraging or discouraging?
Is it positive or negetive?

How does it make you feel?

Remember you are not your thoughts, just an observer of them.
So by implementing this new strategy and simply observing your thoughts in this way, you can calm the mental chatter and develope a far more positive and happy voice inside your head.

Turn Your Dreams Into Reality – Stop Self Sabotaging

The power of you and your unconscious mind.

Do you fear leaving your usual comfort zone?

Does the red flag run up the flag pole for you when you think about taking a calculated risk?

Would you rather not have to deal with the unknown?

If the answer is yes, then these are some of the ways in which you manage to sabotage your own progress and your chances of living the life of your dreams.

Because of the fear of the unknown, you procrastinate; you have ready made excuses why you cannot do something, you avoid opportunities and even more crucially you don’t even notice what is out there for you to enable you to fully develop yourself and live the life of your dreams.

“If you think you can or think you can’t, you will be right either way”!

You can learn how to overcome these self sabotaging mechanisms that you have put in place and instead develop some really useful resources to use in your everyday life.

Life Success Coaching turns your dreams into reality.

Why Worry?

If you feel like you are always worrying about everything from money through to the weather, you're probably right!

A recent survey says we worry and agonise over things seven times a day for eight minutes each, that's nearly one hour a day wasted because worrying changes nothing, let me repeat that worrying changes nothing and once again for those who missed it, worrying changes nothing.

Imagine how different your life could be and all the nice things you could do with an extra hour per day or an extra seven hours per week, just think of it, that's like having a day off every week!

A combination of coaching, NLP and hypnotherapy can help you to beat stress, anxiety and depression. Worry for some people becomes so severe that it impacts on many areas of their lives including work, friendships and relationships, they spend their waking hours feeling edgy and unsettled, nothing seems joyful or happy because there is always worry and feelings of stress, their sleeping hours are also severely disturbed by worrying and anxiety, making them tired and lacking in energy to tackle the day ahead.

Does that sound familiar?

Now picture an alternative scene............

It's you, but its different.

This version of you is someone who is happy, relaxed, not anxious or stressed out, someone who is used to getting more out of life. Someone who is able to focus on the best things life has to offer.

The things that once caused you stress and anxiety are now behind you and you are getting on with enjoying your life and being the best you possible. So many people have asked you what your secret is that you are almost tired of hearing the question ...... except that it's like a special gift each time they ask because it reinforces your knowledge that things are getting better and better.

The truth is, you know the secret and you are happy to share it....It's Life Success Coaching.

A Great Day

Many thanks to those of you who stopped by to visit Life Success Coaching at the Aspire National Training Centre in January.

I met many interesting people and had some really good conversations and I know that I will be seeing some of you again when you start on your journey to live the life or your dreams.

Dreams can take on many different shapes and sizes, for some people it is losing weight, getting fitter, sleeping better and having better realtionships whilst for others it was getting rid of a fear or phobia and for some it was getting a life plan that worked for them.

I look forward to the day when all those I spoke to have made their dreams their reality.

Success In Your Life Tip 2

Set Yourself Daily Goals
Each day choose three goals that you will achieve. Generally people will choose a combination of work and personal, obviously this is up to you, I would suggest you choose two work and one personal goal to start with.

The important thing here is to set them and then achieve them, start small and work up to bigger goals as time goes on. Small ones you could start with might be going to bed early, eating less.....(something unhealthy), eating more....(something healthy), walking for 30 minutes each day, phoning a long lost friend for a chat, the list is endless & the choice is yours.

Committing to small goals and achieveing them will make you feel you have achieved something, build your confidence and give you a sense of real satisfaction and remember when things don't quite to plan in your everyday life you will still feel great because you have achieved your goals.

Feel GREAT today because you scored a goal, its never to late in the day to start.
